With encouragement from coach Lynda Hathaway, Una Donegan and Andrew Korda teamed up in June 2005. While Una and Andrew, who are Maine high school students, train part of the time in Portland, Maine, they also commute to Boston to work with coaches Justin Pekarek and Hilary Gibbons. The duo capped their second season off by winning the gold medal at the 2007 US Junior National Championships. For the 2007/2008 season, Una and Andrew moved up to the novice level and began their season with silver medals at the Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships and Quebec Summer Championships and continued their success with a bronze medal at Eastern Sectionals and U.S. Nationals.
