Brianne Oswald and Buck Withrow teamed up in 2006 and train in Canton, Michigan, with coaches Igor Shpilband and Marina Zoueva. Shpilband is the creator of the team's programs for this season. The team finished 3rd at Pacific Coast Sectionals to qualify for the 2007 US National Championships.

Based on strong performances at Lake Placid Ice Dancing Championships, Oswald and Withrow were assigned to a Junior Grand Prix event in Romania where they finished 10th.

Oswald previously competed with Nathan Truesdell at the novice level; the team won the North American Challenge Skate in 2005. Withrow competed with Brooke Frieling until January 2005.
