Anastasia Cannuscio and Dean Copely formed their partnership on March 20th 2006. They currently train in Newark, Delaware, under coaches Karen Ludington, Brian Helgenberg and Alexandre Kirsanov. Their programs were choreographed by Elena Garanina and Val Spiridonov. Cannuscio and Copely won the silver medal in the compulsory dance superfinal at the Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships in August. They followed the accomplishment up with a bronze at the 2007 US Eastern Sectional Championships, qualifying for Nationals.

Cannuscio was the 2005 US Juvenile National Champion (with Geoffrey Varraux). Copely last competed in ice dancing in 2003 at the Juvenile level with Ashley Foy, they finished 5th at US Nationals.
