Isabella Cannuscio and Ian Lorello teamed up in March 2006. They train in Newark, Delaware, and are coached by Karen Ludington, Gennadi Karponosov, and Brian Helgenberg. Their free dance for the 2006-2007 season was choreographed by Natalia Linichuk and Alexandre Kirsonov. Cannuscio and Lorello won the bronze medal in the compulsory dance superfinal at the Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships in August. They followed the accomplishment up with a silver at the 2007 US Eastern Sectional Championships, qualifying for Nationals.

This is Lorello's first trip to Nationals. Cannuscio (with Kyle Herring) won the bronze medal at the 2004 US Junior Championships at the Intermediate level. She also competed at the 2005 and 2006 Nationals at the novice level.
