Genevieve Deutch and Alexander Lorello teamed up on May 9, 2005 after each had lengthy auditions with other skaters. The team trains with coaches Gennady Karponosov and Karen Ludington in Newark, DE. Vitali Popkov and Natalia LInichuk choreographed the team's free dance this season. Deutch and Lorello finished 4th at Eastern Sectionals to qualify for Nationals for the second consecutive year.
They are the only team returning to this years event at the novice level who competed at last year's championships, where they finished 11th.
