Megan Evans and Nathan Truesdall teamed up in Spring 2006. Evans and Truesdell train in Canton, Michigan, under coaches Igor Shpilband and Marina Zoueva. Shpilband choreographed the duo's free dance for the 2006/2007 season. Evans and Truesdell won the silver medal at 2007 Midwestern sectionals to advance to Nationals.

Evans is new to ice dancing and this is her first trip to US Nationals. Truesdell last competed at US Nationals in 2005 where he finished 6th (with Brianne Oswald).
