Junior Events: Juniors perform only one compulsory dance, the Argentine Tango, on Tuesday, January 19. The next day, the original dance is competed. This season's rhythm is folk/country dance. The skaters are free to choose their own music and elements, as long as they fit within the ISU guidelines. The competition concludes on Thursday with the free dance, skated to music and rhythms of their own choosing. Highest combined point total wins.
Senior Events: Seniors perform only one compulsory dance, the Golden Waltz, on Thursday, January 21. The next day, they then compete the original dance. The skaters are free to choose their own music and elements, as long as they fit within the ISU guidelines of folk/country dance. The competition concludes on Saturday with the free dance skated to music and rhythms of their own choosing. Highest combined point total wins.
