TEAM NOTES:
  • Pfeifer & Lorello teamed up in June 2011.
  • Lorello's twin sister Meara also qualified at the novice level with her partner, William Dean.  Both of his older brothers also ice dance competitively.  Ian Lorello will compete at U.S. Nationals at the senior level with partner Isabella Cannuscio.  His oldest brother, Alex, and partner Katherine Pilgrim missed this year's Sectionals due to injury.
  • Lorello previously skated with Whitney Miller and together they won the silver medal at the 2010 (juvenile) and 2011 (intermediate) U.S. Junior National Championships.  He skated with his sister, Meara, until 2008.
  • Pfeifer previously skated with Sam Rogers, Alexander Petrov and Scott Dudley.  With Petrov, she won the 2010 Eastern Sectional Championships and the national pewter medal at juvenile.  With Dudley, she won the bronze medal at 2011 Eastern Sectionals and finished seventh at U.S. Junior Nationals (intermediate level).
