- Quotes after compulsory dance:

Ruslan:
We wanted to do our best and I think we did well. However, the ice wasn’t so good anymore, we skated late in the group. So when skating, we had to keep that in mind and I didn’t feel so free in the dance. But overall we felt good. This was just the compulsory dance, it went well for us, and I hope it will continue like that. We really feel good here in Budapest, the organization, the ice quality, the rink, the whole atmosphere is very good.

- Quotes after original dance:

Elena:
It was a good dance for us today, we skated well. This combination of dance (Swing Combo) was a little bit strange for me at the beginning but now I got used to it and I like it very much. Everyone skated really well today, and I’m satisfied with our performance too.

Ruslan: In the last season we skated Waltz and Polka. We liked that very much, but we enjoy this one a bit more. We can dance to any rhythm we choose. The silver medal would be good for us, but we wouldn’t be unhappy with the bronze either.

- Quotes after free dance:

Elena:
We liked to skate first in the group. We warm up and we skate, we don’t have to wait.

Ruslan: We did very well today. The audience was great. It felt easy to skate with such a support. We’ll be a bit nervous now, because we don’t know how the other couples are going to skate. We have a couple of days rest now, go to the sauna, walking, meet friends.
