March 1, 2006 - Elena and Ruslan ended their eligible competitive career with the Olympics and will not be competing at the World Championships. Ukraine will send Zadorozhniuk & Verbilo to Worlds in their place.
February 20, 2006 - Elena and Ruslan won the bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.

January 20, 2006 - Elena and Ruslan won the silver medal at the European Championships.
December 27, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan are once again the Ukrainian National Champions.
December 17, 2005 - Ruslan and Elena won the silver medal at the Grand Prix Final.
November 19, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan won the gold medal at Trophee Eric Bompard. They were first in all portions of the competition.
November 10, 2005 -Elena and Ruslan will perform in Viktor Petrenko's "We Are the Champions" shows in Ukraine on December 9th and 10th.
October 30, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan finished 3rd in the free dance, but 2nd overall at Skate Canada.
October 29, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan are in 1st place after the compulsory and original dances at Skate Canada.
October 27, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan are in 2nd place
after the compulsory dance at
Skate Canada.
August 28, 2005 - In addition to coaching Bailey & Donohue with Elena, Ruslan has been doing choreography for Kimmerly Lauten and Augie Hill and working with Mathew Gates' team, Lili LaMar and Chase Brogan as an additional coach.
July 22, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan will be in Lake Placid, New York, with their intermediate team, Sara Bailey and Zachary Donohue, for the Lake Placid Ice Dancing Championships from August 2-6.
June 20, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan will be skating three shows as part of Dreams on Ice beginning June 25 at Yokohama Prince
Skating Center.
May 18, 2005 - Elena and Ruslan will be competing
at two Grand Prix events this season, Skate Canada and Trophee
Eric Bompard.
