February 20, 2006: Tanya and Roman ended their eligible competitive careers by winning the gold medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.

February 19, 2006:
Tanya and Roman finished 1st in the original dance and are in first place overall.


February 17, 2006:
Tanya and Roman finished 2nd in the compulsory dance. They scored 38.20, just .58 out of first.

February 11, 2006: Tanya and Roman are competing at the 2006 Winter Olympics. Below is the schedule of events:

February 17 - Compulsory Dance (Ravensburger Waltz) - 19:00
February 19 - Original Dance - 19:00
February 20 - Free Dance - 19:00


January 20, 2006:
Tanya and Roman finished 3rd in the compulsory dance, and then finished 1st in the original and free dances to capture the European title once again.

December 17, 2005:
Tanya and Roman won the gold at the Grand Prix Final. This is their third straight Grand Prix Final win.

November 28, 2005:
Tanya and Roman won their second Grand Prix event of the season and have qualified for the Grand Prix Final..


November 26, 2005:
Tanya and Roman remain in 1st place after the compulsory and original dances at Cup of Russia.


November 25, 2005:
Tanya and Roman are in 1st place after the compulsory dance at Cup of Russia.

November 5, 2005:
Tanya and Roman won their first gold medal of the season finishing first at Cup of China.

November 4, 2005:
Tanya and Roman are in 1st place after the compulsory and original dances at Cup of China.

September 30, 2005:
Tanya and Roman had planned to perform in the benefit "Skating for the Troops", but unfortunately the show was cancelled.

May 18, 2005:
Tatiana and Roman are competing at Cup of China and Cup of Russia.

March 18, 2005:
In their home country of Russia, Tanya and Roman became two-time World Champions winning the title again with a score of 227.81, their highest score to date.

March 15, 2005:
Tanya and Roman are in 1st place after the compulsory dance (midnight blues) at Worlds. The schedule for the rest of the event is:

Thursday, March 16 - Original Dance (13:00)
Friday, March 17 - Free Dance (18:55)


January 28, 2005:
Tanya and Roman are won the gold medal at the European Championships.

January 5, 2005:
Tanya and Roman were forced to withdraw from Russian Nationals due to Tatiana having the flu.

December 18, 2004:
Tanya and Roman won their second straight Grand Prix Final with a score of 180.23, besting second place finishers Belbin & Agosto by nearly 10 points.

December 17, 2004:
Tanya and Roman are in first place after the original dance at the Grand Prix Final.

November 28, 2004:
Tanya and Roman won their second Grand Prix Event of the season, Cup of Russia, and have now qualified for the Grand Prix Final.

November 26, 2004:
Tanya and Roman are in first place after the compulsory dance at Cup of Russia.

November 20, 2004:
Tanya and Roman finished first in all phases of competition at Trophee Eric Bompard to win the gold medal - their first of this season.

November 6, 2004:
Tatiana and Roman finished 2nd in the free dance to win the silver medal at NHK Trophy.

November 5, 2004:
Tatiana and Roman finished 3rd in the original dance, and are in second overall behind Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviski. Less than one point separates 1st and 2nd.

November 4, 2004:
Tatiana and Roman are in first place after the compulsory dances at NHK Trophy.

June 8, 2004:
Tatiana and Roman have been assigned to the following Grand Prix events this season: NHK Trophy, Trophee Lalique and Cup of Russia. Since they are seeded skaters (having finished in the top 6 at the 2004 World Championships), they are allowed to compete in three events.

June 2004:
Roman married his longtime girlfriend, Julia Lautowa, on June 4 in Russia. An article about the wedding is available in Russian.

April 2004:
Tatiana and Roman concluded their gold medal season by winning the World Figure Skating Championships at the end of March.
