Overview: Originally teaming up in 1998, Tatiana and Roman split up after the 1999 World Championships. They reconnected in late spring 2000 and have been dedicated to their partnership ever since. The culmination of all of their hard work was a gold medal at the 2004 World Championships.

Off the ice, Tatiana and Roman are very different from each other and focus on their own hobbies and lives. Tatiana spends most of her free time with her husband, Alexander Zhulin (who is also the teams coach) as well as their daughter Sasha. Roman enjoys the clubs in New York as well as playing soccer, tennis and pool.
