Alexander
"Sasha" Zhulin
With
his former partner Maya Usova, Alexander Zhulin's competitive
skating career spanned 17 years including a World Championship
gold medal in 1993 and silver and bronze medals at the 1992
and 1994 Olympics. Their partnership came to an end in 1998.
After attempting to continue
his professional skating career (with Pasha Grishuk), he retired
in 1999 to focus on coaching students and choreographing programs
for others.
In addition to coaching Tatiana and Roman, Sasha also coaches
Lithuanian ice dancers Clover Zatzman and Aurimas Radisauskas
and Russian singles skater, Alexander Abt. He also has choreographed
programs for countless competitive skaters, including Viktoria
Volchkova and Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman.
