Alexander "Sasha" Zhulin

With his former partner Maya Usova, Alexander Zhulin's competitive skating career spanned 17 years including a World Championship gold medal in 1993 and silver and bronze medals at the 1992 and 1994 Olympics. Their partnership came to an end in 1998. After attempting to continue his professional skating career (with Pasha Grishuk), he retired in 1999 to focus on coaching students and choreographing programs for others.

In addition to coaching Tatiana and Roman, Sasha also coaches Lithuanian ice dancers Clover Zatzman and Aurimas Radisauskas and Russian singles skater, Alexander Abt. He also has choreographed programs for countless competitive skaters, including Viktoria Volchkova and Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman.
