Quickstep OD at 1994 Skate America

Elizaveta and Dmitri went to their first World Championships in 1993, where they finished 19th.
I first saw them at 1994 Skate America, where they seemed like the "next big thing."
At 1994 Worlds, they had placed 14th--a jump of 5 placements--
then they moved up one place per year to finish 12th at 1996 Worlds.
After a drop to 15th in 1997, they finished 22nd in 1998, their final year together.
For whatever reason, it never quite came together for them.
Coached in their earlier years by Natalia Dubova, their last coach was Genrikh Sretenski.
Here's a look back at a few of their competitions.
