Alexandra Aldridge & Daniel Eaton have re-formed their partnership and are back on the ice.<\/span><\/p>\n

The former members of Team USA had a successful junior career that included two U.S. junior titles and back-to-back bronze medals at the World Junior Championships. In 2014, they won a bronze medal at the Four Continents Championships and competed at the World Championships, where they finished 17th. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Their partnership ended in early 2015 and both moved forward in different directions.\u00a0 <\/span>By late 2016, both of their respective partnerships were over. By Summer 2017, each was faced with missing another competitive season, until they reached out \u2014 to one another.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe met a short while ago to sit and discuss the potential of even making a comeback and ultimately decided that if there was an opportunity in front of either of us that leap of faith needed to be taken,\u201d Eaton said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe weren\u2019t finished yet,\u201d Aldridge added. \u201cBoth of us felt that there was still work to be done to complete our careers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Though at the end of their partnership, Aldridge & Eaton were training at Arctic Edge in Canton, MI, they returned to a familiar place to start their journey back. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThree short weeks ago,\u00a0 <\/span>Alex and I began working at Detroit Skating Club, our home, which has been just an incredible experience,\u201d Eaton said. \u201cWe are very thankful for their support and look forward to representing them in the upcoming years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to training at Detroit Skating Club, the they have reunited with former coaches, Pasquale Camerlengo and Angelika Krylova. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe can\u2019t thank our coaches Angelika and Pasquale enough for accepting us back into their school and re-uniting our once friendship,\u201d Aldridge said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Though their reuniting may come as a surprise to some, it was their closest supporters who guided them through difficult times.
\n <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thankful for our parents who through the times that seemed un-lead, helped to set us back on track,\u201d Aldridge said. <\/span><\/p>\n

Team Aldridge & Eaton will debut later this Fall at a sectionals and hope qualify for the 2018 U.S. Championships, which will take place from December 29-January 7, in San Jose, California.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWords cannot explain how grateful we both are for one another, its as if the right train has finally come around and we both decided to get on board,\u201d Eaton said.\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cWe are very excited for what our future together has in store.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
