\"lpidc2011\"The 2011 Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships (LPIDC) will take place from July 27-30 at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, NY.   Hosted by the Skating Club of Lake Placid and the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority and sanctioned by US Figure Skating and Skate Canada, LPIDC has become a popular event for teams who are preparing to compete internationally in the fall as well as those who are looking for feedback heading into the qualifying season.  All Juvenile through Senior events will be judged using the ISU Judging System.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

REGISTRATION:   <\/strong>All entries must be completed online. Go to www.lakeplacidskating.com for the online entry form<\/a>.   Entries must be postmarked by June 06, 2011 and accompanied by an entry fee. Payment must be made in US Funds. If you are entering a team event, BOTH PARTNERS MUST SUBMIT THEIR FORMS BY THE DEADLINE. Late fees will apply if one partner does not submit their forms by the deadline. This includes open dance events.  Late entries will be accepted at the discretion of the committee and subject to a $40 late fee.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

SOLO DANCE:<\/strong> The Lake Place Ice Dance Competition is a qualifying site for points leading towards the National Solo Dance Championships. More detailed information is available in the 2011 LPIDC Announcement.<\/a>  <\/p>\n

COLLEGIATE NATIONALS: <\/strong> U.S. Collegiate Championships Dance Events to be held in conjunction with the Lake Placid Ice Dance Championships.  Separate medals will be awarded.  <\/p>\n
