The team at ice-dance.com is excited to announce our collaboration with Figure Skaters Online (FSO) on a new figure skating podcast.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This Week in Skating<\/span><\/a> is <\/span>a weekly podcast highlighting the latest figure skating news and event information as well as publishing interviews with athletes, coaches and officials. The podcast will be hosted by Daphne Backman (IDC) and\u00a0<\/span>Gina Capellazzi (FSO).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As you know, IDC was created by Daphne in 1999 and has been covering and promoting the sport of ice dance and the athletes for the past 20+ years.\u00a0 Figure Skaters Online started in 1998, with Gina <\/span>Capellazzi joining the team in 2013 and taking on the administrator role in 2015.\u00a0 In addition to coordinating FSO’s event coverage and managing the journalism team, Gina designs and a<\/span>nd maintains FSO\u2019s athlete websites for pairs and singles.<\/span><\/p>\n

The podcast will debut on Tuesday, May 3 with new episodes to be released every Tuesday. Questions and feedback can be submitted at <\/span>thisweekinskating@gmail.com<\/span><\/a>. Listeners can follow This Week in Skating on\u00a0Facebook<\/a>,\u00a0Twitter<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Instagram<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
