From ISU Communication #2019:<\/strong>\u00a0 Based on the very positive Referees’ Reports and suggestions collected throughout the season 2015\/16, the Ice Dance Technical Committee and the Sport Director Figure Skating Krisztina Regoczy has proposed to the ISU Council the inclusion to the already existing list two NEW Pattern Dances selected from the Partial Step Sequences presented <\/em>
\nat the Senior Ice Dance Events:<\/em><\/p>\n

\n– Foxtrot<\/strong> created by Natalia KALISZEK and Maksim SPODIREV (Coach: Sylwia Nowak-Trebacka)<\/em><\/p>\n

We are happy to inform that the IDTC proposed to the Council also to resume work on the other new Pattern Dance Rhumba d\u2019Amor, created by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean in 1993 and presented for the\u00a0 first time\u00a0 at the\u00a0 European Championships\u00a0 in Helsinki\u00a0 in 1994.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n

IDTC\u00a0 would like\u00a0 to\u00a0 introduce this\u00a0 dance as\u00a0 well\u00a0 as\u00a0 the\u00a0 other\u00a0 two\u00a0 new\u00a0 Pattern\u00a0 Dances\u00a0 selected\u00a0 from\u00a0 the\u00a0 Partial\u00a0 Steps\u00a0 Sequences\u00a0 in the new Olympic cycle 2018-2022.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Council at their meeting in Dubrovnik accepted the project with these new Pattern Dances. The IDTC hopes that this pool of new Pattern Dances can be increased in the future by other worthy dances to new Rhythms.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
