The second annual International Solo Dance Camp was held from February 15-17, 2020 at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas.  Hosted by the Dallas Figure Skating Club, it was attended by 80 solo dance enthusiasts from across the United States and Japan and was wildly successful.

Dancers from pre-juvenile to senior enjoyed on-ice classes that focused on edges, movement, choreography, pattern dance featured steps, twizzles, spins, and edge elements. Off-ice classes included rules update, mental toughness, GOE, components, creating the successful season, warm-up/cool-down as well as group and private lessons with renowned ballroom dance instructor and choreographer, Serge Onik.

Faculty included world judges, technical specialists and Peter Zapalo, the high-respected sports science expert.  One of the highlights was the on-ice, one-on-one sessions during which each dancer has a judge and technical panel member work exclusively with the dancer.

The third annual International Solo Dance Camp will be held in North Texas in February 13-15, 2021.
