U.S. FIGURE SKATING QUALIFYING PIPELINE & NQS ARCHIVE (2019-2026)
Beginning with the 2019–20 season, U.S. Figure Skating introduced a national qualifying competitive pipeline for ice dance, as well as singles and pairs. While junior and senior teams continued to qualify for the annual U.S. Championships, juvenile, intermediate and novice athletes followed a separate pathway culminating in the U.S. Ice Dance Final in November, with top finishers advancing to the National High-Performance Development Team Camp in January.

Built around the vision “Identify. Develop. Promote.”, the pipeline provided developing athletes with a structured path toward the national level. Following the 2025–26 season, the format was revised, with juvenile, intermediate and novice competitors advancing to the U.S. Developmental Championships, held after the U.S. Championships.
