Solo Dance

Welcome to ice-dance.com’s Solo Dance Hub!

What is Solo dance? Solo dance is an opportunity for ice skaters to showcase their dancing skills on the ice without a partner. It provides a platform for skaters of all ages and levels, ranging from preliminary to gold and international, to express their individual artistry and technical prowess. Solo dance events, encompassing both pattern and free dances, can be found at numerous non-qualifying competitions held nationwide.

What competition opportunities are offered in Solo dance? There are three tracks within Solo dance. They are Solo Pattern Dance, Shadow Dance and Combined Dance. Athletes need not select only one track and may compete in multiple events.
